Diego Costa has been omitted from the Chelsea team that faces Stoke in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Manager Guus Hiddink has showed his faith in youngster Bertrand Traore as he gives Spain international Costa a breather ahead of next week’s Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
Cesc Fabregas is also rested by Hiddink as John Obi Mikel returns to the starting line-up after being on the bench for the midweek win at Norwich.

Costa is not mnamed in the Chelsea squad for the match at Stamford Bridge but Fabregas is on the bench along with the likes of Alexandre Pato and Loic Remy.
Chelsea host PSG in the Champions League on Wednesday needing to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg in Paris to progress to the quarter-finals of Europe’s leading competition.
