Slaven Bilic has made seven changes to the West Ham side for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Southampton.

The Hammers chief has rung the changes following the 1-0 midweek League Cup win over League Two side Accrington.

Adrian, Winston Reid, Mark Noble, Cheikhou Kouyate, Michail Antonio, Manuel Lanzini and Dimitri Payet all return to the starting eleven.

The only four players who start against Southampton who were in the line-up against Accrington are Havard Nordtveit, Simone Zaza, Angelo Ogbonna and Alvaro Arbeloa, who will fill in at left-back after Arthur Masuaku damaged ankle ligaments.

The Hammers lost 4-2 in their most recent league clash against West Brom, and their team features only two changes from that match.

Experienced full-back Arbeloa, who previously played for Liverpool and Real Madrid, makes his Premier League debut for West Ham.

Southampton will be wary of the attacking midfield trio of Antonio, Lanzini and Payet, who will be expected to create chances for Simone Zaza, who is still looking for his first goal following his loan move from Juventus in the summer.

The south coast club earned a 1-0 victory over West Ham the last time the two clubs met in February thanks to a Maya Yoshida goal.

In other West Ham team news, Bilic has revealed that defender Aaron Cresswell and forward Andy Carroll are expected to return after the international break.
