Erik Lamela has revealed that he is undergoing recovery training after missing Tottenham’s North London derby against Arsenal.
The 24-year-old was ruled out against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night, after going down with illness as Spurs’ injury list continues as well as nursing a hip problem.
The North London enemies produced an enthralling display at the Emirates, was Harry Kane equalised in the second half to cancel out Kevin Wimmer’s own goal as the score remained 1-1.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, Lamela revealed that he is recovering from injury with a specialised training routine as he looks on from the comfort of his own home instead of playing against the Gunners.

Spurs will be looking to end their run of six league and cup matches without a win against the Gunners, after they lost to Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night with Kevin Kampl securing a 1-0 win for the German outfit.

The winger has found the net on two separate occasions, but has impressively laid on seven assists for the title contenders in 14 games.
