David Gold has predicted West Ham can follow in Leicester's path and win the Premier League against the odds next season.

Claudio Ranieri's team were crowned champions on Monday night for the first time in the club's history after Tottenham drew 2-2 against Chelsea.

Leicester began the campaign as 5,000-1 outsiders to win the title, behind 16 other teams in the Premier League.

West Ham have also exceeded expectations this season and still retain faint hopes of a top-four Premier League finish.

Slaven Bilic's side are sixth in the league on 59 points, only five behind fourth-placed Manchester City.

West Ham co-owner Gold took to Twitter on Monday night to congratulate Leicester and predict big things could be in store for his own club next season.
