Nigel Pearson has been suspended by Derby County and will not take charge of their Tuesday night fixture at Cardiff City- and supporters on Twitter were furious with the news.
The club confirmed on Tuesday afternoon on it’s official website that the Rams manager will not take first team duties this evening, with assistant manager Chris Powell taking charge.
Supporters vented their anger at the handling of the situation, with owner Mel Morris at the brunt of the anger.
One fan urged Morris to leave as owner of Derby, as his obsession of being in control is “killing” the club.
Overall fans were not pleased with the club’s decision, with a number of supporters calling for the owner to leave his role.

If he does depart, however, who do #DCFC look to? Who is out there who have consecutively failed over recent years and stand where they do?

The Rams are 22nd in the Championship table with six points from their opening nine games and have registered only one win this season.
They lost their previous league encounter 2-1 at home to fellow strugglers Blackburn Rovers.
Pearson’s side have also struggled in front of goal this term, with the Rams finding the net on only three occasions.
