Tottenham have completed the signing of Georges-Kevin N’Koudou from Marseille.

Spurs announced the news via their Twitter account on Wednesday evening, just hours before the closure of the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old has signed a contract with the Club until 2021 and will wear the number 14 shirt.

The transfer had been in question at the end of last month due to boardroom changes at the Ligue 1 club, as well as the structure of the payments.

However, French newspaper L’Equipe claimed in its print edition, as cited by the Sun, that winger N’Koudou had remained in London while he waited for the green light to complete the move.

The forward will provide attacking cover for the north London outfit as they prepare to take on the extra challenges Champions League football will bring to White Hart Lane this season.

The move will also provide competition for Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Son Heung-min in the Spurs front-line.

N’Koudo has been a Marseille player for just one season, but scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists in 41 matches in all competitions for a struggling side.
