Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has been involved in a car crash, just hours after leaving the Emirates Stadium following the Gunners 4-3 loss to Liverpool.

The former Chelsea shot-stopper’s day went from bad to worse as he drove his car into a pillar in the Emirates’ underground car park after conceding four goals on Sunday afternoon.

Cech, 34, failed to keep out four sensational goals from Liverpool, which included a stunning Philippe Coutinho goal and brilliantly taken strikes from Adam Lallana and Sadio Mane.

Pictures emerged on Twitter on Sunday night of Cech’s car being involved in a minor incident in the aftermath of the clash.

Cech is now entering his second season in North London following a £10million move from Chelsea in 2015 after spending 11 years with the Blues, and has a contract with the Gunners until 2019.

The former Rennes goalkeeper was considered as one of the signings of the summer last term as he made 20 clean sheets in 41 league and cup encounters.

Arsenal’s number 33 has also had spells with Czech sides Sparta Prague and Chmel Blsany, as well as having 124 Czech Republic caps to his name.

Cech, who has four Premier League winners medals and a Champions League medal in a glittering trophy cabinet, and the 6ft 5in stopper is looking to help the Gunners win their first Premier League title since the Invincibles win of 2003-04.

In other Arsenal news, former Gunners legend Thierry Henry believes this is the man who can have a real impact on the North London side’s campaign.
