Ronald Koeman is set to reshuffle the Everton team with five changes after they were knocked out of the EFL Cup by Championship outfit Norwich in midweek.
Senior stars such as Romelu Lukaku, Yannick Bolasie and captain Phil Jagielka are all expected to return to the side, as Koeman looks to reignite the side after the 2-0 loss to the Canaries.
Gerard Deulofeu, who started against Norwich, is also expected to start from the off after impressing from the bench last weekend during Everton’s 3-1 win against Middlesbrough.
Set-piece specialist Leighton Baines is also set to return at left-back, after Koeman gave youngster Mason Holgate a run out in the third round of the EFL Cup.
Veteran midfielder Gareth Barry could make his 601st Premier League appearance in place of Tom Cleverley, as he looks to close the gap on Ryan Giggs’ record of 632 top-flight appearances.
Jagielka comes in to resume his place at centre-back alongside new signing Ashley Williams, while Aaron Lennon, Enner Valencia and Ramiro Funes Mori will have to settle for a place on the bench.
Midfielders James McCarthy, Muhamed Besic and Darren Gibson are still ruled out through injury.
A win for Everton could see them top the Premier League table if Manchester City drop points, as Koeman’s men have hit the ground running with wins against the likes of West Brom and Sunderland.
In other Everton news, these stats reveal that this Everton striker is having his best season in a blue shirt.
