Everton fans reacted with delight on Twitter as Romelu Lukaku netted two goals for Belgium against Estonia during an emphatic victory on Sunday evening.

The Red Devils soared to victory as they defeated Estonia 8-1 in their World Cup qualifier and Lukaku produced another good display and got his name on the score-sheet twice.

The Everton striker could have scored in the first-half but was denied by the woodwork before teammates Eden Hazard, Thomas Meunier and Dries Mertens ensured Belgium took an early 3-0 lead.

Estonia grabbed a consolation goal through Henri Anier after half an hour but Lukaku’s side were relentless in the second-half to ensure they ended the game in impressive fashion.

The 23 year-old has been in excellent form so far this season and has already scored seven league goals in 10 appearances for Everton.

Only Diego Costa and Sergio Aguero have a better league scoring record than Lukaku but the Belgian international has also scored six goals for his country in his last four appearances.

Here is a selection of the messages on Twitter:

In other Everton news, Tony Cascarino has named this 28 year-old defender as one of the best players in the Premier League.
