Crystal Palace are in talks to sign Everton forward Oumar Niasse, according to a report.

Sky Sports claimed on their transfer centre blog on Wednesday (3.25pm) that the two clubs are in talks over a potential loan deal.

Sky Sports revealed on Tuesday evening that the Merseysiders had settled a stunning £30million deal for winger Yannick Bolasie.

The clubs could now both part ways with a player, as Everton prepare for Niasse to temporarily switch from Goodison Park.

The Senegalese striker was signed by the Merseysiders for £13.5million from Lokomotiv Moscow in January after scoring 13 goals in all competitions from 23 matches for the Russian club.

Niasse has failed to find the back of the net in an Everton shirt, and the striker, who has eight Senegal caps, is reportedly more than happy to leave.

The attacker, who has had spells in Norway and Turkey, has had a dismal stay in England which was compounded by being arrested in May on suspicion of assault after police were called to a house in the early hours of the morning.

The new Everton manager Ronald Koeman has told the 23-year-old that he has no place for him this season and a loan deal could provide the forward the chance to reignite his career.

In other Everton transfer news, they are hours away from completing a £9million signing.
