Five Everton players have been named in Sky Sports’ top 20 players in the Premier League this week.

Romelu Lukaku (3rd) is the highest placed out of the Toffees players after his 11-minute hat-trick against Sunderland on Monday night.

The 23-year-old helped Everton ease to a 3-0 victory and continue their unbeaten start to the new season, with 10 points collected after the first four games.

Sky Sports release their weekly Power Rankings, with players’ performances ranked across 32 different matchday stats.

Maarten Stelkelburg (5th), Gareth Barry (15th), Phil Jagielka (16th) and Idrissa Gueye (17th) are also included in the top 20 after week four.

Everton’s impressive start under Ronald Koeman has been magnified by the stats and they show that the individuals have raised their game since the Dutchman took charge as manager this summer.

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has praised new signing Gueye for his Everton displays and believes he has been their best player so far.

Perhaps the most important bit of business done by Koeman though was to to keep hold of the club’s talisman Lukaku, who was linked with a return to his former club Chelsea.

However the Belgian forward remained at Goodison Park and is one of the best finishers in the league when he is on form.

In other Everton team news, their is an incredible stat which rank the club’s ace above Luis Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo.
