Leeds United and Wolves are set to miss out on Norwich City striker Nelson Oliveira as Swansea close in on a £12million deadline day move, Football Insider sources understand.

Leeds and Wolves have both been lining up the Portugal striker but Swansea are set to beat them to Oliveira's signature.

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that the Premier League outfit have had a £12million bid accepted by Norwich for the prolific forward.

Swansea are looking for a new striker with Fernando Llorente on the verge of a move to Chelsea and Oliveria has emerged on their radar.

Oliviera has been linked with a move away from Norwich all summer, with Reading agreeing a deal for the striker only for Norwich to call a halt to the deal.

The 26-year-old has been in and out of the side this season and the striker showed his displeasure at not starting against Fulham on the opening day of the season when he celebrated his goal in front of manager Daniel Farke.

Oliveira has scored three goals in five Championship games so far this season and Swansea hope he will help fill the void by Llorente's expected departure to Chelsea.

News of Swansea's swoop for Oliveira will come as a major blow to Leeds and Wolves as they look to strengthen their attacking options before the close of the transfer window.
