Fans will now be hoping that their frige players will feel motivated to impress Monk against Norwich with the EFL Cup fifth round awaiting the winners of the fixture.
Leeds have already beaten Fleetwood, Luton and Blackburn to get this far, while Norwich have racked up victories against Coventry and Premier League side Everton.
The two Championship clubs will face each other for the first time in the league after the weekend’s round of fixtures on November 5.
In other Leeds team news, this winger is on course to return for the Whites on Saturday.
