Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight after Blues youngster Jeremie Boga was named in Antonio Conte’s starting XI to face Burnley in their Premier League opener.

The 20-year-old initially joined the club in 2014 when he played for the Under 18s, and has climbed  to the senior squad to make his Premier League debut during Saturday’s match.

The starlet has made 42 appearances for the club’s Under 23 squad and has also spent a few seasons away on loan at clubs overseas such as Granada and Stade Rennais.

Chelsea fans are absolutely delighted at the youngster’s opportunity as Conte hasn’t been known for using youth players in his line ups, and some supporters have even stated that he will possess the talent of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry despite being a midfielder.

Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Fellow new recruit Antonio Rudiger has also been named in the line up and will make his debut in the top flight, after the defender moved from Roma in a £30 million deal at the beginning of the transfer window.

Surprisingly, new signing and potential star striker Alvaro Morata has been sidelined, after the forward provided a less than impressive performance after the 24-year-old missed a penalty against Arsenal during their Community Shield defeat last weekend.

Conte will be hoping that his side can replicate their Premier League success from the previous season and hold on to their title.

In other Chelsea news, the club have submitted a huge bid for PL playmaker.
