Garry Monk has called on his Leeds squad to deliver a good performance against Preston on Boxing Day.
Monk will be hoping his Leeds side can secure their fifth win in six Championship games at Deepdale, by beating Simon Grayson’s Preston in four days’ time.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, the former Swansea boss is desperate to see his Leeds players show all of their “ambition and determination” against the Lancashire based outfit.

Leeds will be looking to go third with all three points against their old manager Grayson, as they sit two points off third placed Reading.
Monk, 37, has masterminded a change in fortunes at Elland Road since taking over, after a disappointing start had seen his side drop dangerously close to the Championship drop zone.
But wins against the likes of Reading, Aston Villa and Norwich has seen Leeds climb into the top six of England’s second division.
The former Swansea boss will be hoping to watch his 17th win as Leeds manager from the dugout, as they look to claw in Brighton who sit 10 points ahead in the second automatic promotion place.
Leeds have come out on top in three of the last four times the Yorkshire giants have faced Preston, but drew the last encounter 1-1 after North End striker Jordan Hugill scored a last-minute penalty to level.
In other Leeds news, Alan Smith has had this to say about manager Monk.
