Garry Monk hailed a “fantastic” performance fromLeeds on Twitter after their stunning 3-2 victory over Norwich on Saturday afternoon.
The Yorkshire club beat their promotion rivals at Carrow Road as goals from Pontus Jansson, Chris Wood and Ronaldo Vieira cancelled out efforts from Robbie Brady and Kyle Lafferty.
Leeds put in a tremendous away performance as they registered 21 shots on goal with midfielder Vieira, 21, sealing a dramatic win in stoppage time with a 25-yard strike.
Former Swansea manager Monk was clearly delighted with the win as his side march up the table going into the international break.
“Fantastic performance and result against tough opposition,” Monk wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Thanks to everyone for your support.”
Former Premier League manager Monk has the tough task of guiding the Whites to the top-tier of English football for the first time in 12 years.
They have climbed into play-off spot with 26 points from 16 games and Monk has also guided them to the quarter-final stage of the EFL Cup.
They have won three wins on the bounce in the league as they will now welcome Championship leaders Newcastle to Elland Road on November 20.
