Gary Neville has predicted Tottenham to finish “fourth or fifth” in the Premier League this season.

The Sky Sports pundit held a Twitter Q&A session on his personal account on Tuesday afternoon, where he was asked by one fan where Spurs would finish the campaign.

Neville replied, predicting Tottenham to finish in the top five, but shared that he was unsure whether they would qualify for the Champions League or not.

The north London side are currently sat in fifth place, one point behind behind fierce rivals Arsenal in fourth.

However, after finishing in a strong third place last season they will be keen to improve on their previous success.

Mauricio Pochettino’s outfit suffered being knocked out of the Champions League earlier in the campaign, but after finishing third in their group they will now compete in the Europa League.

This could have a huge say in where Spurs finish in the league with the Thursday evening encounters taking their toll on an already demanding fixture list.

But, Spurs will take some encouragement from the fact that they also competed in the Europa League last season.

Their next fixture will see them travel to St Marys on December 28, where they will face a strong Southampton side currently occupying seventh.
