Graham Roberts remained positive on Twitter about Tottenham despite their recent dip in form.
Spurs are without a win in their last six games across all competitions and face a crucial Premier League match with Arsenal on Sunday.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side slipped to a 1-0 home defeat against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Wednesday and have been heavily criticised for their performance.
Former Spurs player Roberts believes that the club should stay positive and reminded fans of their success in recent years.
“Bad few games for us but been a fantastic couple of years for club, keep the faith and get behind the lads,” Roberts wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs are currently struggling with the absence of senior players Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane, but the latter is in line to return against Arsenal.
The north London club have still made a positive start to the season despite recent results and are the only unbeaten side in the Premier League.
Argentinian boss Pochettino also guided the club to the highest ever Premier League finish last campaign, when they finished third-placed with 70 points.
In other Tottenham news, Hugo Lloris has claimed that the club not be in a worse position right now.
