Graham Roberts has posted on Twitter that Mauricio Pochettino has done some smart business in the transfer window.
Tottenham completed the signings of five new players this summer, with trio Moussa Sissoko, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and goalkeeper Pau Lopez joining on transfer deadline day.
Spurs were the subject of a tug-of-war transfer battle with Everton on Wednesday, but the north London side won out after paying £30million for the midfielders services.
Former Spurs defender Roberts has revealed on his personal Twitter account that he is delighted with the club’s activity and that the side are now well set up for the counter attack.
Delighted with the window needed extra pace got it needed better back up got it set up well for counter attack now also.

The acquisition of Sissoko certainly injects some pace in Pochettino’s side, especially if the 27-year-old can recreate the form he showed with France at Euro 2016.
Spurs also introduced N’Koudou and the winger is understood to be a rapid player, which should help them use some counter attacking football this season.
The club’s new goalkeeper is 21-year-old Lopez and he is expected to provide back-up to senior pair Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm.
Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen both joined White Hart Lane and have featured regularly in the first-team since joining.
Pochettino will have to rely on upon his squad this season as they have the welcomed distraction of the Champions League this season.
Spurs spent £70.6 million on transfers this summer, with Vincent Janssen, Victor Wanyama, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, Pau Lopez and Sissoko all making a switch to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
