Tottenham icon Graham Roberts has hailed the “excellent” displays from trio Danny Rose, Kyle Walker and Victor Wanyama following the draw with Leicester on Saturday.
Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane by the Foxes after Vincent Janssen opened the scoring before attacker Ahmed Musa equalised.
Roberts, who played for the North London side between 1980 and 1986, was quick to hail the trio on his personal Twitter account despite the home draw.

Walker and Rose played the full 90 minutes in Spurs’ clash against Leicester, as they lined up on either side of the defence in the full-back positions.
Wanyama, sat in front of the back four, playing for 87 minutes before coming off for young prospect Harry Winks helping to keep attacking star duo Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy quiet.
The trio helped Tottenham to keep their unbeaten record in the league going, having not suffered a loss in any of their opening 10 fixtures.
However, with five draws and five wins coming from their encounters, they have been left in fourth place in the league and three points behind leaders Manchester City.
They will face Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League at Wembley on Wednesday before making the short trip to face fierce rivals Arsenal in their next league match.
