Graham Roberts sent a message on Twitter to seven Tottenham players after Leicester dropped two points at Manchester United on Sunday.

The former Spurs defender urged Harry Kane, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen, Kyle Walker and Eric Dier to take advantage in Monday’s clash against Chelsea.

Roberts said the “pressure off now” for the London club although he accepted they need a “miracle” to win the title after the outcome at Old Trafford.

In an absorbing contest, Claudio Ranieri’s side drew 1-1 after captain Wes Morgan equalised Antony Martial’s early opener.

Leicester were unable to secure the win they needed that would have wrapped up the Premier League title and completed their fairytale.

But the result gives Leicester an eight-point lead over second-placed Tottenham, who travel to bitter rivals Chelsea on Monday night.

If Spurs can overturn their wretched Stamford Bridge record and clinch victory, they will narrow the gap to five points with two matches of the season remaining. If Mauricio Pochettino’s side fail to beat Chelsea, Leicester will be crowned champions on Monday night.

Roberts urged the key players to nail down a top-two finish even if they could not win the title.

Leicester’s final two fixtures are home to Everton and away at Chelsea, while Tottenham host Southampton at White Hart Lane before travelling to Newcastle on the final day of the season.

In other Tottenham news, Thierry Henry has identified two things Spurs must do to win the Premier League title next season.
