Harry Forrester hailed Rangers “great” performance on Twitter following his side’s win.

The Gers earned a convincing 3-0 victory at Ibrox on Saturday in the Scottish Premiership clash with Kilmarnock.

Goals from Lee Wallace, Andy Halliday and Joe Garner made sure that Mark Warburton’s team would keep hold of all three points on home soil.

Attacker Forrester, who was an unused substitute during the encounter praised his team’s display on his personal Twitter account following their victory.

Forrester, 25, moved to the club in the last winter window from Doncaster.

He has established himself as one of Warburton’s key midfielders in the team playing in 14 encounters for the club in all competitions this season scoring two goals.

The Scottish giants are currently sat in second place, but trail nine points behind fierce rivals Celtic, who also have a game in hand.

Rangers face Ross County in the league next, who are sat second from bottom and Warburton will be looking to continue the club’s good form.

The club will be looking to establish themselves at the top of Scotland’s football pyramid after being demoted to the Third Division in 2012 after falling into administration
