Harry Kane hailed the “unreal performance” from Tottenham as they registered an impressive 2-0 victory over Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs scored two first-half goals, with Aleksandar Kolarov converting into his own net and Dele Alli’s low strike doubling the home side’s lead just before the break.
The north London club put on a solid display in the second-half to pick up all three points, despite Erik Lamela missing a penalty.
Striker Harry Kane, who is currently on the sidelines with an ankle injury praised his teammates performance on his personal Twitter account.
“Unreal performance from the guys,” Kane wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Great way to finish before the international break. Come on you Spurs.”

Mauricio Pochettino’s side moved into second place with 17 points with that victory at White Hart Lane, as the north London club are now one point behind Pep Guardiola’s City going into the international break.
The White Hart Lane club recorded their fifth straight victory in all competitions, after winning their Champions League group game 1-0 against CSKA Moscow in midweek.
Pochettino’s side will travel to the Hawthorns after the international break to take on Tony Pulis’ West Brom on October 15.
