Hector Bellerin expressed his amazement on Twitter as Mesut Ozil scored a sublime goal for Arsenal in their 3-2 victory over Ludogorets in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Playmaker Ozil ran through on goal from the right-hand side and chipped the goalkeeper, before using his composure to beat two defenders to score a late winner in Bulgaria.

Earlier on the Gunners had come from 2-0 down, with Granit Xhaka and Olivier Giroud levelling the scores before half-time, and the north London club have now qualified for the last-16 stage.

Right-back Bellerin, who missed the Champions League fixture, could not believe his eyes as his German teammate sealed all three points in dramatic fashion.

“Mesut Ozil, I mean, we know you are good, but WOW!!” Bellerin wrote on his personal Twitter account.

World Cup-winner Ozil has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 13 appearances in all competitions this season, including scoring four goals in his last two Champions League fixtures.

Arsene Wenger’s side will now prepare for the visit of neighbours Tottenham on Sunday afternoon, with Mauricio Pochettino’s men unbeaten in the league this season.

Spurs are three points behind their rivals in fifth, with the Gunners on 23 points in second, as the top three are only separated by goal difference.

In other Arsenal team news, Stoke midfielder Joe Allen has credited this Gunners ace for his recent goal-scoring form.
