Ian Wright has backed Arsenal to win all of their tough run of Premier League fixtures in November, which he believes will give them confidence in the title race.

Arsene Wenger’s side host north London rivals Tottenham, travel to Manchester United, before rounding the month off by visiting the south coast to take on Bournemouth.

In between those fixtures the Gunners travel to Bulgaria to take on Ludogorets Razgrad for a Champions League group game, including hosting Ligue 1 champions Paris St-Germain.

But former Arsenal striker Wright has given his reason as to why the fixtures in November will be of so much significance to Wenger’s side.

“The game’s leading into November should give them a lot of confidence [In the title race],” Wright told BBC Radio 5 live programme 606. “I believe they can win all of those games. It’s after Christmas that it’s going to be the big test.”

The north London club picked up their sixth victory in all competitons on Saturday afternoon, when they beat a resilient Swansea side 3-2 at the Emirates stadium.

As a result they have moved level on points with leaders Manchester City in the league, with 19 points from eight games, with one loss each for both sides.

The Gunners host newly-promoted Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon, with the possibility of topping the table with a victory.

In other Arsenal team news, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp has said the penny has finally dropped for this Gunners player.
