Swansea are ahead of Borussia Dortmund in the hunt for Tottenham midfielder Nacer Chadli, according to a report.
Sky Sports claimed at the end of July that there is firm interest from the Swans in the Belgium international amid growing doubts about his future at White Hart Lane.
Belgian outlet DH claim that Dortmund are interested in the Belgium international but Swansea are in pole position to secure services.
The 26-year-old former FC Twente star was mainly used as a substitute towards the end of last season and he received large amounts of criticism for a mistake that lead to a 1-0 defeat by West Ham in March.
The left-winger still has two years left on his current contract after signing for £7million in the summer of 2013 .
He starred in 40 encounters for the north London club last season scoring seven goals and providing five assists, as he helped guide Tottenham to a third-placed finish.
Chadli may be looking to leave the club after the 30-time capped Belgium international failed to make the squad for this summer’s European Championships in France.
The Swans and Tottenham have negotiated deals together in recent years, which include Gylfi Sigurdsson’s return to the Welsh club, while Kyle Naughton also left the London club permanently to move to Swansea.
