New signing Isaac Hayden has revealed his delight on Twitter after Newcastle struck two injury-time goals to beat Norwich 4-3.
Teammate Dwight Gayle scored a stunning hat-trick on Wednesday night, as his 96th-minute winner saw the Toon come from 3-1 down to drown Alex Neil’s Canaries.
Former Arsenal midfielder Hayden revealed on his personal Twitter account that the dramatic win was down to “great team spirit”, as Newcastle move to within three points of Championship league leaders Huddersfield.

Gayle struck his hat-trick goal and Newcastle’s winner after Frenchman Yoann Gouffran headed home a Matt Ritchie cross to equalise in the 95th minute.
Defensive midfield player Hayden, who can also play in defence, came on for Jack Colback with twenty minutes remaining and played a large part in helping the Toon overcome the 3-1 deficit.
Rafa Benitez’s side will be looking to keep the pressure on David Wagner’s impressive Huddersfield this Saturday, as they travel to face struggling Rotherham.
Hayden, 21, joined the Magpies in July for around £2.5million from Premier League giants Arsenal after an impressive season at Premier Legaue new boys Hull City as he helped them gain promotion via the playoffs.
Newcastle’s number 14 has made 10 Championship appearances this season but in recent weeks has lost his place in the starting 11 to Jonjo Shelvey and Colback.
In other Newcastle news, former striker Peter Lovenkrands has hailed this player after starring against Norwich.
