Juventus are preparing to offer Arsenal money plus forward Mario Mandzukic in a bid to sign Alexis Sanchez, according to a report.

Italian football news outlet Calcio Mercato has claimed that the Serie A side will offer the Croatia international as well as money to convince the Gunners into selling the Gunners talisman.

It is claimed that Arsene Wenger is a great admirer of Mandzukic and that the French boss attempted to take him to Emirates Stadium in the summer.

Sanchez’s future at Arsenal is in doubt with talks stalled on an extension to his contract, which expires in 2018.

The Daily Mirror claimed that 27-year-old wants a buy-out clause inserted into any deal, as well as a wage increase.

Despite Arsenal paying £31.7million for the Chile international, as well as Sanchez becoming a key figure at the club, the club may be unwilling to agree to such demands.

It is claimed that Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri sees Sanchez as the perfect reinforcement to complete his attack, which already includes Gonzalo Higuain and Pablo Dybala.

Sanchez, who has featured in five matches for Arsenal in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists, is one of the first names on Arsene Wenger’s team-sheet.

In other Arsenal transfer news, the Gunners and Liverpool are preparing to enter a tug-of-war for Torino forward Andrea Belotti.
