Alex Iwobi has claimed that his Arsenal team-mate Alexis Sanchez is the hardest working player at the club.
Iwobi, 20, has managed to break into the first-team this season and has made seven appearances to date.
The youngster has explained that Sanchez has a strange habit that highlights his tireless work rate.
Arsenal attacker Sanchez has been a crucial player at the Emirates since his arrival in 2014 and is considered a crucial player by manager Arsene Wenger.
Iwobi was asked who works the hardest in the Arsenal side and he explained what Sanchez is like during a training session, as quoted by FourFourTwo’s official Twitter account.
“Alexis. When the coach is talking, sometimes he starts doing press-ups. We’re like: really?”
Sanchez, 27, has made a huge impact at Arsenal and made 102 appearances for the club, scoring 47 goals and supplying 28 assists.
The former Barcelona man has been the preferred option to lead the line this season instead of Olivier Giroud.
He has netted five goals in nine appearances this campaign and is a huge favourite amongst the club’s supporters.
Arsenal are currently third-placed in the Premier League and have earned 16 points from their opening seven league games.
They are expected to challenge for the title this season and Sanchez is set to play a major role if they achieve any success.
In other Arsenal team news, Ian Wright has admitted that he is worried about two of the club’s players.
