Jack Sullivan has given West Ham fans hope of securing another signing this summer after claiming on Wednesday morning that one more player could be arriving at the club.
The son of West Ham chief David Sullivan is renowned for providing reliable information about developments at the Hammers fans, including transfers and player injuries.
Sullivan took to his personal Twitter account on Wednesday to claim that another player could be on his way to the Olympic Stadium before Wednesday’s 11pm transfer deadline.
The east London outfit have completed the landmark signings of Andre Ayew and Simone Zaza in recent weeks, but appear to be still in the market for late deal.
A report in the Evening Standard claimed that Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony could be on his way to Slaven Bilic’s side till fill the void.
Sullivan’s message was vague and it remains unclear who, if anyone, West Ham are hoping to sign before the international break this weekend.
Alongside the signing of Ayew and Manuel Lanzini’s transfer being made permanent, Bilic has also completed deals for Sofiane Feghouli, Havard Nordtveit, Ashley Fletcher, Gökhan Töre, Jonathan Calleri, Simone Zaza, Edimilson Fernandes and Arthur Masuaku this summer.
In other West Ham transfer news, defender Reece Burke has joined Championship side Wigan on loan.
