Jurgen Klopp is moving into Brendan Rodgers’ luxury former apartment in Merseyside.

The new Liverpool manager has agreed to rent the £1.2million property while he sources a more substantial family home.

According to Mail Online, Klopp will pay rent of around £4,000 per month for the penthouse flat in the leafy suburb of Sefton Park.

He has been pictured moving into the property alongside his wife Ulla, stepson, security man/driver, Liverpool liaison officer Ray Haughan and a German Shepherd puppy.

As Sportsmail’s exclusive pictures show, a smiley Klopp was out in the Sefton Park area of Merseyside and he has agreed to rent Rodgers’ former apartment.

The penthouse is worth an estimated £1.2million, but Klopp will pay rent for now, about £4,000 a month, out of his own pocket.

Klopp, his wife Ulla, her son and his girlfriend were all in town to check out the new place, along with the German tactician’s security man/driver and the club’s liaison officer Ray Haughan.

Klopp will hope to be familiarised with his new surroundings ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League opener against Tottenham on Saturday.

He spent Sunday watching youth-team matches at the club’s training headquarters.
