Key Arsenal duo Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey have returned to training after suffering injuries in September, and the striker is in contention to make his comeback on Saturday, according to a report.
The Gunners face Middlesbrough on the weekend and the Sun have claimed that the France international could make his return for the north London club.
Giroud, 30, has not featured for Arsenal since September 24th when his side beat Chelsea 3-0.
He has played in three other encounters for Arsene Wenger’s side in the new campaign, but has so far remained goalless.
Meanwhile, Ramsey, 25, has only played in the season opening 4-3 defeat against Liverpool.
The Wales international is a key part of Arsenal’s midfield and fans will be awaiting his return with the Gunners currently performing well in the league.
The north London club are currently joint top of the league with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and they lie in second place on goal difference.
They have won their last six fixtures in all competitions and will be looking to continue their run against a Boro side which sits in 17th place.
However, before the Premier League encounter they will face Bulgarian outfit Ludogrets in the Champions League.
In other Arsenal team news, Wenger is ready to let this young star out on loan to get more first-team football.
