Jurgen Klopp has joked he hasn’t got a clue how to win the Premier League, but he’s smart enough not to get carried away by Liverpool’s bright start.

The Reds currently sit in third position, level on points at the top of the table with Manchester City and Arsenal and only separated by goal difference.

After the opening 10 fixtures Liverpool have been named as one of the favourites to win the title but Klopp insisted there is still plenty of football yet to be played.

“I have no idea, it’s my first proper season in the Premier League. I have no idea what to do to win the Premier League,” said Klopp, as reported by Liverpool Echo.

“But I’m really sure it was never decided at the end of October. We feel good at the moment that is all.”

Liverpool have lost just one fixture in the league this season, and have scored 24 goals on their way to collecting 23 points.

They’ve won their last three games against Crystal Palace, Tottenham and West Brom and have already avoided defeat on the road to Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea.

The Reds are without European football and have eight days between their next fixture while league rivals Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City all compete in the Champions League this week.
