Sky Sports pundit Matt Le Tissier has left out Harry Kane and Vincent Kompany from his combined Tottenham and Manchester City XI.
Both players are currently injured with Kompany suffering a recurring problem, while Kane suffered an ankle injury in the clash against Sunderland.
However, both players are considered stars in their respective side’s and would have been notable absentee’s from a starting eleven formed of both team’s.
Kane was omitted for the inform Sergio Aguero upfront, while Toby Alderweireld and John Stones were picked in defence over Kompany.
Other notable absentees include’s Tottenham attacking duo Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli, while midfielder’s Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama were also left out of the combined side’s XI.
The two club’s currently occupy the top two positions in the Premier League table with both side’s unbeaten in the new campaign.
City are four points clear of Tottenham, winning all six of their opening matches, while Spurs have won their last three league clashes.
Both clubs are looking to improve on their previous season’s finishes which saw City finish in fourth place and Tottenham in third.
In other Tottenham team news, Mark Lawrenson has tipped Spurs to play out a high scoring 2-2 draw against Manchester City.
