Ledley King believes Tottenham have pace, power and flair in their squad following the transfer window.

Spurs completed five signings this summer as Mauricio Pochettino as Mauricio Pochettino strengthed his squad.

Deadline-day signings Moussa Sissoko, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Pau Lopez joined the club’s other two new faces Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen.

Former Tottenham captain King has revealed on his personal Twitter account that the new players have helped to strengthen the squad and believes they are an even stronger force this year.

Spurs challenged eventual Leicester champions for large parts of the 2015-16 season, but just fell away in the closing months and were even pipped to second by arch-rivals Arsenal.

Former England manager Roy Hodgson built his starting XI for Euro 2016 with a core of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker but they couldn’t prevent a humiliating exit to Iceland in the last 16.

Wanyama and Janssen have adjusted well since moving to White Hart Lane and become regular players.

The former Southampton midfielder Wanyama has certainly added pace and power to the centre of midfield as he protects the backline.

Elsewhere deadline-day recruit Sissoko produced some all round dominant performances for hosts France at the competition and the Spurs fans will be hopefully he can recreate those displays.

In other Tottenham transfer news, the club’s fans have responded on Twitter to Sissoko’s signing.
