Leeds ace Pontus Jansson has said that he would be proud to be a part of boxer Josh Warrington’s next ring walk.

Boyhood Whites fan Warrington asked the centre-back if he would do a ring walk with him for one of his next fights.

The International and European Featherweight Champion had his offer accepted and Jansson is now expected to be part of Warrington’s team for his next fight.

At first Warrington was asked how he would tackle the hard-hitting defender, but he stated that he would prefer the Swede to be on his team.

Here are the duo exchanging messages on their personal Twitter accounts.

Undefeated Leeds fighter Warrington recently joined the experienced promoter Frank Warren.

It seems likely now that Elland Road favourite Jansson could join him for one of his fights.

On-loan Torino defender Jansson has been in immense form for Garry Monk’s side this season, playing a huge part in their promotion push.

The Sweden international has become a popular figure because of his hard-hitting and passionate style on the field of play.

Jansson has already found the back of the net for Monk’s side, scoring during the 3-2 win over fellow promotion chasers Norwich at Carrow Road in October.

Additionally, the former Malmo player has helped the Yorkshire club keep eight clean sheets in all competitions this term.

In other Leeds news, a betting update has revealed that the Whites are in the running to sign this £13 million Premier League striker.
