Leeds are set to complete the permanent signing of Sweden international Pontus Jansson in the January transfer window – and supporters on Twitter are desparetely hoping he signs.
The Yorkshire Evening Post claim the Championship club are expected to land the defender, 25, for a seven-figure fee.
Jansson is only seven matches into a season-long loan from Torino but has made a huge impression during his short time at Elland Road.
Supporters stated that the best piece of business owner Massimo Cellino can do in January is sign the popular defender.
Fans hailed the Sweden international’s partnership with Kyle Bartley as the best pairing the club has seen in many years.
One Leeds supporter revealed that Jansson not signing a deal would be as devastating as the club’s relegation from the Premier League 12 years ago.
