Kemar Roofe returned to the Leeds team in their 1-0 win over Blackburn on Tuesday night – and fans took to Twitter to give their verdicts on his performance.
Garry Monk’s team beat Blackburn for the second time in a week to secure a third consecutive victory and clinch a place in the last-16 of the EFL Cup.
A paltry crowd of 8,488 were in attendance at Elland Road to witness Monk’s side maintain their run of improved results.
The performance of Roofe was one talking point, as he has struggled to fire since his £3million summer move from Oxford.
The 2015-16 League Two player of the year started on the left flank as Monk made seven changes from the team that beat Cardiff 1-0 last Saturday, and played the full 90 minutes at Elland Road.
The forward failed to break his Leeds drought in his 10th appearance for the club as supporters criticised his lack of cutting edge in front of goal.
But others praised his attitude and desire for Monk’s much-changed side.
