Leeds supporters took to Twitter to celebrate striker Chris Wood’s omission from the starting line-up in Tuesday’s Championship clash at Elland Road against Blackburn.
The 24-year-old striker has dropped to the bench after a string of questionable performances for the side.
Midfielders Kalvin Phillips and Alex Mowatt also dropped out of the side with Pablo Hernandez, Eunan O’Kane and Stuart Dallas all coming in.
The fans of the Yorkshire giants welcomed the changes and particularly highlighted that Wood wasn’t in the side.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

That line up is the best so far this season. Round pegs in round holes, Wood dropped and 2 central midfielders. Win or bust for Monk! #lufc

Lineup looks so much stronger without Wood, three points a must tonight. #lufc

Leeds have struggled in the new campaign under manager Garry Monk.
They have only won one league game in their opening six matches after a 1-0 victory against Sheffield Wednesday.
Suffering four losses and one draw from their early fixtures, the Yorkshire giants have been left in the relegation zone in 22nd place.
However, they will see bottom of the league Blackburn, who currently have their own problems off of the pitch as the perfect opportunity to kick start their season.
