Leeds fans on Twitter felt Ronaldo Vieira got better as the game went on as Garry Monk’s side secured a 2-0 victory against Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon.

After a quiet first-half Leeds took the lead through Chris Wood after the break via the penalty spot when Pontus Jansson was wrestled to the ground by Matt Connolly.

Monk’s side doubled their lead less than ten minutes from time to secure victory when Pablo Hernandez curled his shot past Cardiff keeper Ben Amos.

At first supporters called for the 18-year-old to be substituted after a quiet first-half from the youngster.

But, as the game progressed fans agreed that Vieira grew into the game, as he helped his side secure their second win of the week.

Fans praised Vieira for a solid performance, despite the inexperienced midfielder not having captain Liam Bridcutt beside him in midfield.

However, towards the final whistle supporters were pleased with the midfielders performance, as they praised his solid display in the middle of the park.
