Kemar Roofe was handed his fifth consecutive start for Leeds in their 3-2 win against Norwich on Saturday – and fans took to Twitter to give a mixed reaction to his performance.

The Elland Road summer signing has been given an extended run in the team due to an injury suffered by Stuart Dallas.

Mowatt was selected in the starting XI for only the sixth time in Leeds’ 16 league fixtures this season, and his 10th start out of 19 matches in all competitions.

But the 23-year-old endured a difficult afternoon on the left flank as Leeds failed to extend their excellent recent run of league results.

He played 55 minutes of for Garry Monk’s side but was withdrawn early in the second half after suffering what appeared to be concussion and was replaced by Hadi Sacko.

Fans took to social media to give their verdicts on Roofe’s display on the wing against Norwich and expressed their sympathy at his head injury.

Leeds’ seventh win from 10 league matches, and their third in a row, lifts them to sixth place in the Championship and into the play-off positions for the first time this season.
