Leeds have completed the signing of striker Marcus Antonsson from Kalmar – and fans reacted positively on Twitter to landing a regular goalscorer.
The 25-year-old has penned a three-year deal to move from Swedish club Kalmar and become Garry Monk’s first signing since taking charge.
The Yorkshire giants announced on their official website that the deal had been completed although insisted that it is still subject to international clearance.
The fee has not been disclosed although it has been reported that it could rise to £2million with add-ons.
Should it go through as expected, Leeds will have a virtual goal-a-game spearhead, who has scored an impressive 10 strikes in 12 league matches this season to make him the top scorer in the Swedish league.
