Chris Wood made a huge impact off the bench against Norwich – and the Leeds supporters praised the forward on Twitter.
The Whites secured a dramatic win against the Canaries on Tuesday night, with the EFL Cup fourth-round tie being decided on a penalty shoot-out.
Leeds booked their place in the quarter-finals with a 3-2 victory on penalties once the game had finished 2-2 after extra-time.
Wood grabbed a late equaliser in extra-time to take the game to penalties, tapping the ball into an empty net from a Hadi Sacko cross.
Alex Pritchard and Marcus Antonsson scored a goal each in 90 minutes to send the tie to extra-time.
The Canaries took the lead in extra-time through a Nelson Oliveira header, but Wood’s goal meant that the game went to penalties, and Ronaldo Viera netted the decisive spot kick.
Leeds fans were thrilled with the impact of Wood and hailed the importance of the striker.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Wood will get 20. If we'd invested in a partner for him, we'd be legitimately looking at the play offs. #lufc

Wood has been condemned by fans in the past for his overall play, but he is silencing the critics with his goal scoring record.
He has made 54 appearances for the Whites since his arrival in 2015, scoring 22 goals and supplying four assists in the process.
The former Leicester striker has begun to settle at Elland Road and is becoming a fan favourite.
