Chris Wood helped his side complete a win over Cardiff on Saturday – and the club’s fans expressed their delight on Twitter over his performance.
The forward converted a penalty in the second-half and Pablo Hernandez settled the game late on as Leeds completed a 2-0 away victory in the Championship.
Defender Pontus Jansson was fouled by Matthew Connolly in the penalty area and Wood dispatched the spot-kick into the bottom right corner.
Garry Monk’s side have now won two consecutive league games following on from the 2-1 victory against Blackburn and are recovering from their difficult start.
The Leeds supporters have praised the influence of the 24-year-old Wood and were pleased to see him continue his recent goal scoring form.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

The striker has now scored five goals in all competitions this season and is the club’s leading scorer.
Wood was named in the side ahead of Marcus Antonsson and he repaid the faith shown by Monk.
The former Leicester forward moved to Elland Road in 2015 and has developed into the first-choice option in attack.
Leeds host Ipswich in their next Championship match but face Blackburn in the EFL Cup third-round on Tuesday first.
In other Leeds team news, there has been a shock winner of the club’s player of the month award.
