Leeds’ four-match winning run came to an on Tuesday night – and supporters took to Twitter to express their disappointment.

Garry Monk’s side lost 1-0 against Bristol City as midfielder Marlon Pack scored his first goal of the season to condemn Leeds to their first defeat in five matches.

City’s third win in a row moves them up to fifth in the Championship while Leeds have dropped to 14th in the table.

Garry Monk had selected an unchanged side for the clash at Ashton Gate, as he stuck with the side that beat Ipswich 1-0 on Saturday.

Leeds had 54 per cent of the possession but could not make their domination of the ball count as they squandered a number of chances.

Supporters took to Twitter afterwards to reveal their feelings of disappointment at the result, with a number claiming that the side’s lack of a plan B had proved costly.

Here is a selection of their messages on the social media site:

Leeds had travelled to City seeking a fifth consecutive win after league victories over Blackburn, Cardiff and Ipswich were supplemented by a League Cup triumph over Blackburn.

Monk’s side began the day 12th in the Championship and would have climbed into the top half if they had defeated City on Tuesday night at Ashton Gate.

In other Leeds team news, the club have suffered a blow as a senior star has been ruled out for another three weeks.
