Leeds fans paid tribute to Hadi Sacko on Twitter after their team’s 2-1 win over Barnsley on Saturday.
Garry Monk’s side secured their fifth victory in six matches, and their fourth from five league encounters, as they overcame their Yorkshire rivals at Elland Road.
Goals from defender Kyle Bartley and playmaker Pablo Hernandez were enough to secure the three points and lift Leeds into the top half of the Championship table for the first time this season.
On-loan Sacko has emerged as a key member of Leeds’ team during their excellent recent run and has now started nine of their 11 league matches this season.
The winger played 74 minutes of the win over Barnsley before being replaced by striker Marcus Antonsson.
Fans took to social media to give their verdicts on Sacko’s display against Barnsley.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:
We rely so heavily on Sacko and yet he’s so inexperienced. #lufc
