Jansson made his move permanent to Leeds over the summer and the fan favourite has made a sensational start to the season under new manager Christiansen.
The powerhouse defender has formed a brilliant partnership alongside Liam Cooper at centre-back, but the latter was forced off in the second-half against Birmingham as Luke Ayling slotted in.
Leeds will be hoping to stretch the only unbeaten record in the league on Saturday when they travel to Millwall of their next game.
In other Leeds United news, the club’s supporters responded to Kemar Roofe being dropped from the starting XI against Birmingham.
