Pontus Jansson will miss Leeds’ next Championship clash against Rotherham following a suspension – and Whites supporters on Twitter believe it’s come at the right time.
The 25-year-old defender was booked during the 2-0 defeat against Newcastle on Sunday bringing his yellow card tally up to five this campaign and he will now miss the clash at the New York Stadium.
Joining on loan from Torino in the summer, Jansson has become a key part of Garry Monk’s team as he has helped to solidify the defence in his first 13 appearances for the club.
However, with Rotherham currently bottom of England’s second tier with just seven points from 17 fixtures fans on social media believe it’s a good match to be without the Sweden international.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

@APOPEY silly booking too, but out of the games we've got coming up that would be the game you'd pick him to miss when he's due a ban.

Although Jansson’s card’s will be wiped from his record on November 30, there will have still been a worry that he could have picked up a booking against Rotherham resulting in him missing the club’s vital EFL Cup clash against Liverpool at Anfield.
With the club performing well in the cup competition, Monk has also got his side exceeding expectations in the league table and despite the defeat on Sunday they are still sat in seventh place and just three points separate them from fourth.
In other Leeds news, this attacking player is a doubt for the clash against the Millers.
