Kalvin Phillips played the full 90 minutes of Leeds’ 1-0 win over Wolves on Saturday – but fans on Twitter were not convinced by the youngster’s display.

The midfielder, 20, slotted into the No10 role after being pushed further forward due to an injury to Pablo Hernandez.

Leeds were good value for what was a landmark away win at Molineux Stadium as they secured their fifth win from eight league matches.

Forward Kemar Roofe netted the decisive goal in the 70th minute after he converted a pass from team-mate Hadi Sacko.

The result leaves Garry Monk’s side 10th in the Championship table and they are now just three points adrift of the play-off positions.

Leeds supporters were not convinced that the more attacking midfield position suited Phillips.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Phillips has emerged as a regular for Leeds under new manager Monk this season.

In other Leeds team news, their midfielder has revealed that he held talks with Monk.
