Leeds have missed out on top target Kyle Lafferty as the striker completed his loan move to Birmingham City on Thursday.
The Northern Ireland international has been linked with Leeds during the entirety of the loan window but has snubbed the Whites in favour of joining the Blues for the rest of the season from Premier League club Norwich .
Lafferty, 28, has endured a nightmare at Carrow Road after just 60 minutes of first-team action and has finally ended his flirtation with Leeds.
Birmingham confirmed the striker’s arrival via their Twitter account, adding they were ‘delighted’ to welcome Lafferty to club.

Leeds were in pole position to sign Lafferty in early February, as revealed by Football Insider, but failed to agree personal terms with the striker or nail down an agreement with Norwich.
Steve Evans suggested last week that Leeds were simply not an attractive prospect for the Premier League striker and added that finances had been an issue.
